Indian yoghurt curry (Gujarati Kadhi)
Ingredients
- 2 cup Yoghurt
- 2 tablespoon Gram flour ( besan)
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 tablespoon tumeric
- 5 whole cloves
- 1 whole Green chilli
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste
- 1/2 stalk Cinnamon
- 4 whole Black pepper
- 3 whole curry leaves
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 Seasonings :
- 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon Fenugreek and mustard seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon Hing
- 3 whole Dried chilli
- 4 whole Curry leaves
- 1 teaspoon Oil
Preparation Method
1. In a pan, pour the yoghurt and gram flour. Add water and mix well. Turn on medium heat. Make sure there is no lumps.
4. For seasoning, add 1 tablespoon of oil in the pan. Add cumin, fenugreek and mustard seeds. Let the seeds splatter. Add hing ,dried chilli and curry leaves.
